Description

Welcome to Bureaucracy, Infocom’s hilarious satire of red tape, runaround, and rage.

Douglas Adams (author of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy) co-wrote this absurd adventure where your simple task — changing your address — spirals into a labyrinth of lost forms, malfunctioning computers, and maddening officials.

Keep your cool (and your blood pressure) as you battle endless paperwork, long lines, and systemic insanity in a world where common sense has been permanently misplaced.

Getting started: When the game asks if you want color, press Y, then press any key. Type anything and press Enter to start a new game, then fill in the licence form: type each answer and press Enter (type ^ to go back a field).

How to save: Type SAVE and press Enter, then press Enter again to use the suggested file name.

How to continue: Type RESTORE and press Enter, then press Enter again. You can also type RESTORE at the very first prompt to skip the form.

The Keep: Signed in to UORealms? Right after you save in the game, click Save to The Keep above the game to store the save in your account. Next time, on any computer, click Load from The Keep, pick your save, then continue as shown above. Saves you don’t put in The Keep are gone once you leave or reload the page.
