Part of Origin’s Worlds of Ultima line, Martian Dreams is the second game in the Worlds of Adventure series, following The Savage Empire.

In Martian Dreams, a Victorian-era experiment gone wrong launches the Avatar, Dr. Sigmund Freud, Nikola Tesla, Nellie Bly, and dozens of historical figures straight to Mars.

There, you’ll uncover abandoned Martian cities, mysterious “Dream Machines,” and a psychic crisis threatening the remnants of an ancient civilization.

Explore deserts, domes, canals, and ancient ruins as you investigate what happened to the lost colonists and unravel the secrets left behind by the planet’s extinct inhabitants.

Mix Victorian science fiction, classic Ultima role-playing, and surreal dream exploration into one unforgettable adventure.

Gameplay Controls:

To slow down the game emulation, press CTRL + F11.
To speed up the game, press CTRL + F12.
Press Escape (ESC) to exit fullscreen mode.

Getting started: The first time, choose Create Character and answer the questions one at a time (pressing keys too quickly can crash the game), then choose Continue Game.

How to save: Press Ctrl+S, then press Y when asked “Save game?”.

How to continue: At the start menu, choose Continue Game. Your character only exists in your save, so put it in The Keep before you leave.

The Keep: Signed in to UORealms? Right after you save in the game, click Save to The Keep above the game to store the save in your account. Next time, on any computer, click Load from The Keep, pick your save, then continue as shown above. Saves you don’t put in The Keep are gone once you leave or reload the page.
